"La Central Latina is a grass-roots, community-based organization which has been organized to empower Latina/os. We focus on low income and/or recent arrivals to the United States and Bloomington, Indiana, in order to facilitate Latina/o access to educational, health, social and community services and agencies, and to promote communication and understanding among services, agencies and the Latina Community. La Central Latina is designed to help integrate and encourage active Latina/o participation in the greater Bloomington and Monroe County community."
