invited the 2002 World Basketball Championships to send us a speaker for the
April 8th
meeting, so we can learn more about
the participating teams (where they�re coming from, how many there will be,
etc.) and about volunteer opportunities before and during the event.
6. Please
plan to support our reciprocal member, the Asian-American Alliance, by
attending the
�Celebration of Excellence on Saturday, 27 April (see calendar or call 317: 317:818-6699).
7. The �festivals brochure� mentioned by Bob Schultz of the Indianapolis Convention and Visitors
Association at our last meeting turns out to be a special promotion about downtown activities in May � no festivals or brochures involved. But, we�re still working on one!
