for members of the Nationalities Council of Indiana, Inc.
1. Susan Salenda, chairman of the Nominating Committee for 2002 officers and
board members, is out of town during the November NCI meeting. Committee members Gene Maresca and Betty Bunnell will present the slate and conduct the election. Remember: voting members are representatives of paid ethnic groups. See the NCI by-laws on line: http://www.cs.iupui.edu/~smckee/nci_bylaws.html if you have any questions about who�s eligible to serve, vote, or whatever.
2. Cecelia Dickinson will announce the details on our annual Winter Gala, to be held in January. Be prepared to donate your time and talent to this festive occasion!
3. Remember that we don�t have regularly scheduled NCI meetings in either December or January. Our next meeting will be 11 February 2002 in the Athen�um (as usual).
4. At the November meeting, we�ll go over this year�s festival, and give a big round of applause to the NCI festival team:

5. Everyone�member or not-- is welcome to attend NCI general meetings on the
second Monday of each month (except December and January). You don�t have to be a member to come � but we actively seek and welcome new members.
6. Although The Ethnic Hoosier newsletter goes to all who are interested, this����� ���������supplement is prepared for NCI members.
