Supplement
for members of the Nationalities Council of Indiana, Inc.
1. Susan Salenda is chairman of the Nominating Committee for 2002 officers and
board members. Serving with her are Betty Bunnell and Gene Maresca. Their slate is enclosed with this EH Supplement, and will be voted on at the November meeting.
2. Blake Justice (new individual member of NCI) has agreed to coordinate the Opening Ceremonies of the International Festival. Thanks, Blake!

3. Although our focus is on final plans for International Festival 2001 � this is the last NCI meeting before it takes place � we will be spending some time contemplating our response to the terrorist acts of 11 September 2001. 4. According to the By-Laws (section 5.7), a board member who has not attended four consecutive meetings can be removed from the board by vote of the membership. Asko Viitaniemi has not attended any NCI meetings in 2001; therefore, a vote affirming his removal from the board will be taken at the November meeting.
5. Everyone�member or not-- is welcome to attend NCI general meetings on the
second Monday of each month (except December and January). You don�t have to be a member to come � but we actively seek and welcome new members.
6. Although The Ethnic Hoosier newsletter goes to all who are interested, this�������������� supplement is prepared for NCI members.
