"Geeta Mandal is a Hindu organization with goals of promoting the philosophy and practice of Hindu Religion (Sanatan Dharma) and to maintain a place of worship in Indianapolis and Central Indiana. Currently their are deities of Sri Radha and Sri Krishna in India Community Center. Every second Sunday of each month we have a structured program at India Community Center from 10 a.m. to noon consisting of Vedic prayers, Dhuns, Bhajans and Discourses by learned speakers. Every Wednesday, from 7:30-8:30 p.m., Puja is performed at the same place. In additin we celebrate various festivals such as Ram Navami, Janmasthami, Deepavali, perform Abhishek, Yagna and recite Akhand Ramayana. We also organize religious camp for children. Geeta Mandal is actively involved in the current efforts by our Hindu community to raise funds for the purpose of building a Hindu Temple of Central Indiana. We invite you to join Geeta Mandal to serve your religious needs. The membership is $25 calendar year.
