The Seventh Annual Indy�s Irish Festival will be held Sept. 13-15, 2002 in Downtown Indianapolis at Military Park.� The festival has expanded to three days due to increasing attendance over the past years.� This year�s attendance over the weekend of activities is expected to exceed 15,000.
Attendees at this year�s event will enjoy live Irish rock and traditional music and dancing on three stages, Irish market with merchandise vendors selling items from Ireland, Irish Cultural Area with exhibits and demonstrations, Civil War re-enactors, Family Area with children�s games and educational booths, great food from 10 local pubs and restaurants, and an eight-game Rugby Jamboree.
Irish Fest will take place:
� Friday, Sept. 13, 5 � 11:30 p.m.
� Saturday, Sept. 14, 11:30 a.m. � 11:30 p.m.
� Sunday, Sept. 15, Noon � 7 p.m.
