"The ISIC Association produces and regulates the International Student Identity Card (ISIC), and supports local territory representatives promoting and distributing the Card. This year over 3 million students will become ISIC holders. The Card is now issued in over 90 countries, and is recognized at many of the great historic and cultural institutions around the world.

"Over the years, the ISIC has become a cornerstone of agreements with airlines, railways, bus and shipping lines, and with local retailers and service providers. The ISIC gives bearers access to a worldwide network of benefits. To assist young travellers, the ISIC Association produces over one million copies of the ISIC World Travel Handbook, which lists major travel discounts and benefits to students, as well as the worldwide network of ISTC Member offices to assist the traveling student.
