German School for Children

The German program at Indiana University-Purdue University in Indianapolis offers German language classes for children ages 4-12 on Saturday mornings on the IUPUI campus. Four classes are offered: Kindergarten, Beginners, Intermediate, and Advanced. Classes meet for 10 weeks during the fall semester and 14 weeks during the spring semester, from 9:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Instruction is in German and focuses on conversational skills and culture. There is also a beginners conversational class for parents in the program.
