The International Women's Association of Kokomo is a local group which offers support to new women arriving to the community from another country, as well as kinship amongst those who are interested in other cultures. The organization meets on the first Friday of the month (with the exception of January) and has special events and gatherings. The web site describes membership requirements, lists planned events, and even offers international recipes.
