"Kyudo is traditional Japanese Archery. It is practiced today for character
development, relaxation, enjoyment and is considered
by some to be a form of meditation. In its most basic form it is a slow moving
ceremony with 5 participants
who move in relaxed unison and alternately shoot 2 arrows in turn. It is a
beautiful and tranquil ceremony
enjoyed by women and men well into very old age."
