Dr. James C. Hsiung
James C. Hsiung, Ph.D., Columbia University, New York,
Professor of Politics and International Law at New York University,
where he
teaches international relations theory, international law and
governance,
and East Asia politics and relations. He is the author and editor of 17
books, not counting his numerous articles and book chapters. His most
recent books are: Asia Pacific in the New World Politics (1993),
Anarchy and
Order: The Interplay of Politics and Law in International Relations
(1997),
and Hong Kong the Super Paradox (2000). A former executive editor of
the
Washington-based learned journal Asian Affairs, he holds the title of
Honorary or Visiting Professor at several universities in China proper
and
Lingnan University in Hong Kong. He is also a former advisor or
consultant
to several Asian governments, including the Singaporean Ministry of
Education.
