6:50 am - The Canal Turns Green!! St. Patrick's Day starts with the
greening of the Downtown canal with the Mayor of Indianapolis and the
Irish Citizen of the Year Mr. F. Quinn. (Ohio & West Streets-East of
Fire Station #13)
IAC SPORTS
FOUNDATION ST. PATRICK'S DAY PARADE
11:30 am - Parade starts at
North and Pennsylvania Streets, south to Ohio Street, west on Ohio to
Meridian, north on Meridian, parade ends just north of Vermont St.
The Parade has 100 units including bands, clubs, professional
sports teams, floats, local celebrities and many colorful Irish
influences.

& Walk-Registration/Packet pick-up at the IUPUI Natatorium located at
901 W. New York Street in Downtown Indianapolis.
9:00 am -Shamrock 5 mile
Run Official Start
9:15 am -Shamrock 5K
Walk Official Start
The Shamrock Run & Walk has a NEW course for 2005.
10:30 am -Shamrock Run
& Walk Awards Ceremony at the Rest and Recovery Area located at the
IUPUI Michael A. Carroll Track & Soccer Stadium. Prizes will be
presented to the first three overall male and female finishers in the Run
and Walk. There will be awards presented to the top three male and female
finishers in each age division for both the Run and Walk. There will also
be a prize given to the best Irish race costume.

11:00am-2:00pm - Shamrock Run & Walk packet pick-up at the
IUPUI Natatorium located at 901 W. New York Street on the IUPUI campus
Downtown Indianapolis.
STILL NEED TO REGISTER? Visit www.shamrockrun.com and pre-register for $18 through March 14,
2005. Registrations will be taken on-grounds for $20 starting March
16, 2005.

March 17th from 10 AM - 3 PM
LOCATION: Tyndall-Moorhead Armory
(711 N. Pennsylvania St. - downtown Indianapolis). This is also
where the parade will begin.
10:00 am - 3:00 pm - Sliced corn beef sandwiches served with
cheese, chips, soft drink and cookie for $8.50.

of 13 children), a Navy veteran, graduate of the University of Notre
Dame, a 51 year employee of American United Life and an active member of
the Indianapolis Irish Catholic Community.
