Unarious Society

Approx. 1954-present
"Founded in 1954 by Dr. Ernest and Ruth Norman in El Cajon, CA, the Unarious Society uses a lot of scientific mumbo jumbo (metaphysics, fourth dimension theory, harmonic convergence) to teach students some very nonscientific ideas ('infinite eye,' inter-dimensional channeling, reincarnation). The group's main goal, however, is to 'promote better communication' between earthlings and the 4,000 beings said to be living on nearby planets. By doing so they are hoping to persuade the 'Intergalactic Federation' that the Earth is ready to become the thirty-third member of the 'Restored Brotherhood of terrestrial Planets Located Within the Milky Way.'"
