Presidents Message.

Each day's news reminds me about just how important it is that the people of the world learn about each other.

The good news for this month comes not from CNN but from e-mail:

Thanks to Prof. Giles R. Hoyt, Professor of German and Philanthropic Studies and director of the
Max Kade German-American Center at IUPUI, our web site (http://nationalitiescouncil.org) now has a permanent home on the School of Liberal Arts server at IUPUI. This will now allow us to publish and publicize it!

Also, we have had a donation of beautiful native dresses from
Guinea and from Pakistan. The donor wanted them to be used, and we will make sure that they ARE!! Look for them at the International Festival this year.

SPEAKING OF WHICH: This year's festival dates are November 6-9. (Festival dates through 2007 are on our website, http://nationalitiescouncil.org/calendar.html).

Now is a good time to get these dates into your schedule! See you at the festival!
