Association of Teachers of Japanese: The Association of Teachers of Japanese is an international, non-profit, non-political organization of scholars, teachers, and students of Japanese language, literature, and linguistics dedicated to teaching and scholarship and to the exchange of information among teachers and other professionals to help broaden and deepen knowledge and appreciation of Japan and its culture.
National Council of Japanese Language Teachers: NCJLT is an organization dedicated to the promotion and development of Japanese language teaching at the elementary, secondary, and higher education levels across the United States.
Southeast Association of Teachers of Japanese: Southeast Association of Teachers of Japanese (SEATJ) is a nonprofit professional organization for K-16 teachers of Japanese mainly in the Southeastern states including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia.
Institute for the Teachng of Japanese: ITJ offers Internet-assisted professional development courses to elementary, middle, and high school teachers of Japanese.
Japan Foundation Los Angeles Language Center: Offers in-service training and langugage testing. The Japan Foundation was established in 1972 as a special legal entity under the auspices of the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the purpose promoting mutual understanding and friendship on the international scene.
