Wow! That's all I can say about September! Welcoming Week was a flurry of activity, and what a wonderful way to celebrate the many cultures here in Central Indiana. Some of the activities that took place were:
- Penrod Arts Fair
- Chinese Festival
- Indy Irish Fest
- FIESTA Indianapolis
- Race for All Races 5K Walk
- Sister Cities Fest
- Peace and Unity Festival
- German Culture Exhibition (through October at the IMCPL)
- Green Card and Naturalization Information Session

From September 15 to October 15, we celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month. There are great events celebrating the contribution to this country by our Latino community, which has shaped our history for over 500 years. Last month we enjoyed FIESTA Indianapolis, El Grito Mexican Day of Independence Festival, Rumba de Blanco at the Jazz Kitchen and more!
