Caribbean Association of Indiana presents
Bob Marley Tribute Party
The Bob Marley Tribute is an annual event presented by the Caribbean Association of Indiana that allows fans of Marley, as well as fans of Caribbean music and cuisine, to come together in an atmosphere of "One Love."
Decades after his death, Bob Marley is still considered reggae music's most internationally known figure. Marley was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1994 and holds a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. He remains enormously popular in his homeland of Jamaica as well as all over the world, his style and sound influencing a new generation of musicians. As we prepare celebrate Black History Month, we pause to celebrate Bob Marley's birthday (Feb. 6), but most importantly we celebrate his vision of "one world, one love."
The event will include a live performance by Indika Reggae Band. DJ sets by "TNT Productions". Tickets are $20 if purchased in advanced and $25 at the door. A small convenience fee will be charged to online ticket purchases.
